How To Tile Flooring - Tile Made Easy

But then not everyone is good at setting tiles, most of us would seek the services of a professional tile setter which cost a lot. While some of us who are somewhat short of their budget seek information and guidelines on how to tile flooring instead. A tile is a manufactured piece of hard-wearing material such as ceramic, stone, metal or even glass. Tiles are generally used for covering roofs, floors and walls, showers, or other objects such as tabletops.
Here are the materials that you need to gather: floor tiles, tile spacers, adhesive, pencil, grout, tile cutter, spreader, floor sealer and damp cloth. Ceramic tile flooring is one of the best flooring choices available to homeowners.
If the materials that you'll need are complete and are available, put a mark on the mid-points of all the walls and draw a pair of lines that cross in the center of the room with a chalk. Then place your tiles along the two lines to work out the best positions. Make sure to use as many whole tiles as possible. Now spread a square meter of the adhesive into one of the corners formed by the chalk lines.
Your work should start from the center of the room using chalk lines as guide when tiling going outwards. Then you can now start tiling, and make sure you put spacers between each tile then continue until you have covered half the room with as many whole tiles as possible. Then proceed with the other side of the line. When you're done filling the area with tiles, the next step would be to spread the grout all over the tiles and make sure evry joint is filled. Remove the excess grout with a sponge.
