Updating Kitchen Cabinets on the Cheap
It's the age-old question: How cheap can I get it done? This query is one that is posed of everything from a major car repair to repaving of a driveway, and it's one that's become all the more pressing in today's volatile economy.
It's not surprising then that some readers of the "San Francisco Chronicle" wanted advice on updating 1980s oak kitchen cabinets on the cheap. By doing it themselves, the homeowners also risk the possibility of breakage during that process, potentially increasing the cost."
