Kids Ceiling Fans – Find the Perfect Ceiling Fan for your Kids
Not only adults can enjoy the benefits of ceiling fans. There are many fans made especially for a child’s room and shopping for the perfect kids ceiling fan can be a really fun experience for both you and the child you are shopping for. With a child’s room you do not have to go with the normal decor of the house, you can have fun with it and let your imagination run wild.
Kids ceiling fans come in many different fun and imaginative designs. The designs are usually picture on the blades and the light fixture. You can also find kids ceiling fans with different blades lengths. Most children’s ceiling fans come with short wingspans but they can be found in spans up to 55”. Therefore, you are sure to find the right fan for the size room the child has.
As I mentioned before, there are so many different types of kids ceiling fans. The most popular are those in the shape of an airplane. Airplane ceiling fans come in many different types of planes. The Fantasy Flyer fan seems to be among the most popular. The plain is blue with some red and gray, it is the authentic replica of F4U Corsair. The wings of the fan are set against the ceiling and the blades are the propellers.
Other popular kids ceiling fans include the Warbird series made by Craftmade. The Miss America features the colors of the American flag, red, white and blue with white stars. The blades are 48” and white. The Tiger Shark has a shark mouth as the motor cover, a red nose with a light at the tip and 48” black blades. The Glamorous Glen features yellow and red checkered nose with a silver motor cover and 58” black blades with yellow tips.
Another popular design is the sports fans. These are not just good for kids but any sports fan. You can find fans with different sports on them like baseball or football. When it comes to installing a fan in a child’s room the most important thing to think about is safety. You should make sure the ceiling fans are very secure and protected against things that may be thrown at it. You should check for and remove any and all pointed parts that could be cause for concern. Also for additional safety for your child, most fans should be operated on low speed.
